Liverpool Back On Top

Liverpool thrashed Huddersfield 5-0 to reclaim top spot and put the pressure back on Manchester City who play Burnley on Sunday.

The Anfield crowd was emphatic and the home team rampant as it was a display of attacking skills from the players against already relegated Huddersfield.

The Red's wasted no time as Naby Keita scored the quickest Liverpool goal with close range effort on Mohamed Salah's pass, 15 seconds into the play.

Sadio Mane headed in second and Salah lobbed the goalkeeper just before half-time for the third.

Mane headed another goal in second half before Salah tapped in to round off a dominant display.

Liverpool and Manchester City are neck to neck in the title race with Liverpool 2 points a head but having played one more game.

Liverpool are at 91 points and no team has ever lost the Premier League on that number of points.

But thing are more in Manchester City's control as the'd go on to win the title if they win their remaining 3 fixtures.
