Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah beats Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva to claim the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) player of the year award for the 2017-2018 season on Sunday.
"It's an honour and especially as it's voted by the players. I am happy and proud," Egypt international Salah said.
The 25-year-old has so far scored 31 goals in 34 matches, tying him with Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez for the most goals in one Premier League season with an opportunity to become the sole record holder having four games left.
Leroy Sane (Manchester City) won the award for best young player and Fran Kirby (Chelsea) won the prize for best female footballer.
