Jack Sock Wins Paris Masters Title

Jack Sock clinched his first ever Masters title beating Filip Krajinovic 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 at Rolex Paris Masters final on Sunday.

Sock forced his way into the last eight players who qualify for the 2017 Nitto ATP Finals.

The 25-year-old American was ranked No. 24 before the tournament and needed to win the title to qualify for the ATP finals.

He will make his singles debut at the elite eight-player event, joining World No. 1 Rafael Nadal of Spain, six-time Swiss champion Roger Federer, debutants Alexander Zverev of Germany, Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov and David Goffin of Belgium, and former qualifiers Austria’s Dominic Thiem and Croatia’s Marin Cilic.

"Coming in this week I had no idea I could even make London. It wasn't in my head," Sock said. "Incredible week. Hard to describe, honestly. I don't think it's really hit or soaked in yet."

Finalist Filip Krajinovic had an amazing run of his own stunning John Isner's hopes for qualifying for the ATP Tour finals by winning the match 6-4  6-7[2]  7-6[5] in semi-final.

The world number 77, will climb to No. 33 next week.
