Gareth Barry Reach Highest Premier League Appearances


Gareth Barry made his 633rd Premier League appearance, breaking Ryan Giggs' record, in his match for West Brom against Arsenal on Monday.

Barry, 36, made his debut in Premier League at the age of 17 as a defender with Aston Villa where he played his most matches, 365. He evolved into a defensive midfield player and joined Manchester City where he won the Premier League title. Later in his career he joined Everton before recently moving to West Bromwich Albion.
