Aguero Is A 'Legend' - Guardiola

Manager Pep Guardiola hailed Sergio Aguero as a Manchester City "legend", after the striker scored a hat-trick in City's 6-0 win against Watford on Saturday.

"He's a legend, and it's a part of history in the club. Aguero's numbers speak for themselves - he is amazing," said Guardiola.

The 29-year-old has scored 175 goals for the club, three short of Eric Brook's club record of 177 goals.

"Hopefully that [the record] will happen very soon, and we can have a big celebration," said Guardiola.

The Argentine has scored 6 Premier League hat-tricks, only Alan Shearer (11), Robbie Fowler (9), Michael Owen and Thierry Henry (8) have more.
