Myanmar: Students Appear In Court For Protest

Sixty-five people appeared in court in Myanmar for a protest which turned violent causing injuries

In the protest two weeks ago against a new educational bill more than hundred students were arrested for their technically illegal march as it did not have official approval.

The bill centralizes the control of education while protesters demand more power to be devolved to universities and higher education institutions and the right to form student unions.
