Boxing: Floyd Mayweather v Manny Pacquiao confirmed for 2 May

Unbeaten Floyd Mayweather will fight Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas on 2 May in MGM Grand, in what is expected to be the richest event in the history of boxing.

The two best fighters of their generation will fight to generate as much as £162m ($250m), the highest in the history and is also expected to break the record for pay-per-view buys in US.

37-year-old Mayweather is unbeaten in 47 professional fights while 36-year-old Pacquiao has 57 wins and five losses from 64 contests.
