Africa Cup referee sent home after penalty drama

Referee Rajindraparsad Seechurn was banned by The African Football Federation (CAF) for six months after he awarded a doubtful penalty to home team Equatorial Guinea in last minute of the match which they were losing 0-1 to Tunisia but then went on to win 2-1.

Riot police had to protect the match officials from furious Tunisian players. CAF also fined Tunisia €43,000.
