UI student earns entrepreneur recognition

A University of Iowa student received top recognition during a national conference of college-level entrepreneurs.

The Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization named Tyler Finchum its student entrepreneur of the year during its annual conference in Orlando this year.

Part of the class of 2015, Finchum has started Farm Manuals Fast, an online marketplace that sells digital versions of operator manuals to farmers worldwide.

Finchum is a student in the university’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center. He is studying finance and economics, according to the university.
