Meet Saira Blair, The 18-Year-Old Who Made History In This Year's Election

Teen Saira Blair reportedly contributed $4,000 to her own campaign to let voters know she was serious.

On Tuesday, the citizens in West Virginia's 59th District took her seriously as well, delivering Blair a resounding victory over her Democratic opponent for a seat in the state's House of Delegates.

At age 18, Blair will be the youngest state lawmaker in the nation, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing the National Conference of State Legislatures.
