Today, and for this writing, my heart is full of gratitude for the lives of a surprising number of heroes I have been privileged to see and know:

O''Captain Imran Khan, Dr M Jawaid Khan, Rabo, Dee, Malala, Ali,Hussain, Fahim Khan, M Hamad Khan, Imran Basit, Amin Malik, Imran Khan, Shazaib Khan, Salar Khan, Saima, Paras, Sorat, Hyder, Ehsan, Zainab Khan, Zaeem, Anne, Zeba, Mariam, Talat, Aneela, Mustafa. Eman, Ibrahim, Faizan.  And I feel compelled to mention all this.  

!WOW!  -the World Students Society Computers-Internet-Wireless, is the ownership of every single student in the world.

***One share piece-peace for each student***.

!WOW!   - and the world at large sincerely hopes and wishes, that it  is not too  far removed from the work of great people like Julian Assange.

'' THERE ARE  900,000  people in the United States with top-secret security clearances at the moment.

There are  two and a half million that have classified security clearances.

If we go back over the past twenty years and ask how many people had security clearances,.........maybe it is  15 million.

If we then go and look at all their spouses and business partners and children we are looking at something like.......30%................of the population of the United States that is one degree removed from that ideological structure and that patronage system.

*It is quite difficult in the  United States  to say something that is against that system*.................page 141-142.

If this how power saturates society, those citizens who are not linked with power are basically foreigners in their own countries. Their governments are not working for them.

If the scope of those segments of population is linked to oppression-producing bureaucracies and industries produces fear, Julian Assange has theorised fear as well for the reader.

He believes that only fools can be totally fearless.

Courage is not about becoming fearless but rather about overcoming your fears by testing the limits of your freedom. 

''Courage is the intellectual mastery of fear by understanding the true risks and opportunities of the situation and keeping those things in balance.''.....page 138.

The book is extremely valuable for those who want to learn how two greatest technological minds of the  21st  century  think about power.

The heart of the book is a record of lengthy conversations between Eric Schmidt, the executive chairman of  Google, and Julian Assange, the publisher of WikiLeaks.

Julian Assange thinks that Internet is inherently democratic and it should not be allowed to be colonised by Google because........

Google is helping America maintain its status as a superpower.

If Assange is correct,  China's ban on Google and Facebook makes perfect good sense.

It appears that all those who want to control the world are basically trying to control its interpretations.  

So many movies will get made with Julian Assange as the subject, hero. That is rightly so!  It is so very true, that Julian Assange, brought about an ideal through personal sacrifice.

And that has changed the way,  the world at large views  social media,  the power of the individual to have a voice,  in that space, and be able to question the hypocrisies  and   wrong doings:

To organisations and bodies of powerful people that rule the world and our lives.

This resonated deeply with every fair and reasonable  humans beliefs in civil liberty, a healthy democracy, and the human rights of both communities and individuals to question those in authority.

This is an extraordinary lurch in our society. And for that matter in every society in the world.

Only history will be a true judge of where this is leading us.

WikiLeaks :  That  kind of work/artistry is rare, and once in a while it occurs, as in the epic work of !WOW! and Sam Daily Times, it restores confidence and honour.

And this should never sound like a good lung full  of smoke blowing.
