Beyonce named as top-earning woman in music by Forbes

Beyonce has been named as the top-earning female artist of 2014 by Forbes.

According to Forbes, the past 12 months have been "the biggest year" of the singer's career as a combination of sales figures from her self-titled album, lucrative live shows, sponsorship deals with brands such as Pepsi and H&M and other endorsements such as fragrance and clothing lines contributed to her income of $115m (£71.8m).
