Tattooed teacher Charlotte Tumilty sent home on first day at Hartlepool primary school

A TEACHER has been sent home from school on her first day on the job.

Charlotte Tumilty, a 26-year-old mother of two, claims she was sent home from St John Vianneys Primary School in Hartlepool, in England’s north east, because of the visible tattoos on her neck and arms in the first hour on the first day of her first job.

Tumilty, who has a “full sleeve” of tattoos on her arms and legs, smaller inkings on her fingers, hands, back and chest and an eye emblem on her neck, claimed that due to the “strict Catholic” school’s policy she was told to go home and cover up.
