NAPLAN tests taken online in every Australian school in 2016

EXCLUSIVE: Schoolchildren across the country will be sitting interactive online NAPLAN tests the year after next.

Federal cabinet has signed off on $25 million in new funds to ramp-up the development of the technology to take NAPLAN online.

The move will escalate pressure on state and territory governments to ensure their schools are prepared to move across to the online National Assessment Program — Literacy and Numeracy tests when they become available in 2016.
