Booted out! 100 pupils are sent home from secondary school for not wearing black leather shoes

UK: Furious parents have branded a school's uniform policy a load of old cobblers after 100 pupils were sent home for wearing the wrong shoes.
The shocked students, aged 12 to 16, were given their marching orders just minutes after turning up for class on the first day of term yesterday.
Staff at The Coseley School, Bilston, West Midlands, told the youngsters to go home because their footwear were not 'black, leather shoes' and were 'inappropriate'.
