KateWatch: The Duchess Of Cambridge Sports LK Bennett To Board A Fighter Jet

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are having a very busy Easter weekend as they continue their tour of Australia and New Zealand. They spent Good Friday making friends with sheep at the Royal Easter Show in Olympic Park and today they jetted off to Brisbane to check out the planes at the Amberley Air Base.
Since literal dressing is the Duchess's signature style, Kate's sported a frock with (almost) air force blue detail for the engagement. The knee-length number from LK Bennett was white with blue petal detail around the waist. Costing £245, the form-fitting dress had elbow-length sleeves and a small split in the back.
Kate teamed it with a matching clutch from Australian brand Oroton, simple black courts and a silver watch. She pulled her hair into a chic half-up half-down 'do, secured with a lock of her own hair.
Kate spent her time at the air base chatting to the swarms of well-wishers who'd gathered to get a glimpse of her and Wills. Despite sporting a bright white dress, she got her hands dirty and helped to plant a commemorative tree. She wasn't even hesitant about clambering into a jet for a closer look, despite sporting stilettos and her dress having a restrictive-looking pencil skirt. The Lasa Poppy Print dress has now sold out on the LK Bennett website, but a matching a silk printed top is still available with the 'snorkel blue' Lasa Poppy design.LK Bennett has been one of the Duchess's go-to choices for years. She carried the label's Natalie handbag on tour yesterday with her white Zimmerman dress and her nude LK Bennett heels have had numerous outings over the years. In February she wore an LK Bennett structured dress with a dramatic neckline to head to Northolt High School in London. The dress was the same 'snorkel blue' as the print on the number she sported today.
Plus, Kate's worn the brand's Detroit Dress three times for public appearances. She first stepped out in it in November 2011 at UNICEF’s Emergency Supply Centre in Copenhagen. Then in 2012, she was spotted in it once again at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff where she watched a rugby match between Wales (the Red Dragons) and New Zealand, before (ever the appropriate dresser) she brought it out again for Poppy Day in 2013.
